![]() But very accusatory as if she didn’t even order the drink. Not just in an inquisitive way to find out what happened to the order. They even forgot ones drink today and when they were asked about it, a staff member, in a rude tone, asked if she even paid for it. ![]() I have multiple other coworkers that have had consistently negative experiences with the staff at this location. Finally got my drink while the others were still waiting on their mobile orders that were placed before mine. I’m annoyed and about to be late for work at this point and had to leave. So I ask if it was for me and a different worker said “yea I’ll give it to you in a minute” and walked away. The person behind the counter said (with attitude) “I’m going to start them soon.”įine I waited. I asked about the mobile orders since people were coming in and getting their orders that were just placed and ours weren’t even started. About 15 min after I saw a couple of other people waiting and asked if they were waiting for their mobile orders and they were. I pre ordered my drink and arrived a little early so I didn’t mind waiting. The manager is nice but the staff is pretty rude a lot of the time and forget drinks then give you attitude like it’s your fault they didn’t make it. But the experience is why they get 1 star. I would encourage you to do the same! :-) I would definitely love to go back and try the rest of their menu. Unfortunately they do not deviate from that, but it's still worth asking. The only thing that was a little odd was they cut their menu in half when there is a show at Gammage across the street so that they can get orders out quickly. I liked the random pictures on the wall, the multi-colored light fixtures, and the diner seating right up front. It was a very clean establishment, bright, open, and colorful. This dish delivers MORE THAN EXPECTED! I was so happy when I left and bragged about it to others!īy the way, the diner itself is very nice. The chicken was boneless and one of the most juiciest pieces of chicken I've ever had at a restaurant. ![]() The beautiful color, crisp, and light sweetness of the waffles was so good, I didn't need butter or syrup (they would have taken away from the flavors) and 2. The Normal Diner has combined the 5 most delicious words."Chicken and Red Velvet Waffles"! Wow!! There were two things that made this dish stand out. ![]() While most places casually slide you Tabasco and nothing more, it was refreshing to have almost half of dozen choices. I also appreciated the multitude of hot sauce options available. My only qualm was the potatoes could have been crispier, a problem easily solved by me ordering them well done next time. For the price, the amount of food I got was great and on my best day I couldn't have finished it all. My peach cream muffin that I got in lieu of toast was soft and tasty as well. Anyone who routinely orders over medium knows that actually getting an over medium egg is a shot in the dark and we routinely settle for over easy as the over medium egg is ever so elusive to your average line cook. The portion was large and thick and the breading was perfect as was the sausage gravy blanketing this massive fried steak. Anytime I try a new place I get their chicken fried steak with eggs over medium. I knew I would be up at 6am for a work thing today so I made a point to pack up the laptop and went shortly after opening to avoid the crowd. To clarify, it's a great sign they were slammed but I was starved and had an impatient 8 year old so we went elsewhere and I made a mental note to come solo. The first time I stopped by here it was very busy so I didn't stop in. ![]() I found this place awhile back while searching for a new breakfast place to try. ![]()
